Pharaohs Club Man Cave
In February of 2022, in partnership with Washtenaw Community College, we launched the Pharaoh’s Club Young Men of Purpose. This group of young men met every Saturday from September to the beginning of June. Pharaohs Club was launched with the intention to create a safe space for goal setting, growth, mentoring, learning black history, working through emotions and more. We are achieving this through the Village Blueprint model (which involves fitness, black history research, accountability and more) and Saturday Circle. It occurred once a month and is was a time for our young men to learn about the journey of becoming young men of purpose in many different careers and with different life experiences.
In December of 2023, Pharaohs Club was reimagined, thus Pharaohs Club Man Cave was born. We recognize that connecting with our young men needs to be intentional and laser focused. Pharaohs Club Man Cave is an innovative way of cultivating brotherhood and learning life skills with the guidance and mentorship of Black men.
