Due to the community support of our Aubree's, Double Good Popcorn, Go Ice Cream fundraisers, bottle/monetary sponsorships, donations and the Ypsilanti Area Community Fund and ARPA Funds, we have reached our goal and the Queens took a trip to Washington D.C.! The Queens departed Michigan by train to Washington D.C. on Wednesday night and returned to Michigan on Monday morning.

We are truly grateful for our community and we enjoyed traveling, experiencing and absorbing more about our rich culture that continues to influence today's society.

This journey was a wonderful way to show our young scholars the depth of the support they have throughout their community and the opportunities beyond Ypsilanti. We believe it will serve as a catalyst to them being dreamers, learners and world changers.

We are so grateful for the support and donations we have received that is making this trip possible for our Queens Club to travel to Washington D.C. to adventure and experience more of the world beyond Ypsilanti without it being a financial burden on families, Thank you.
